about me

my story

i’m lilith payne, a trans, queer, multimedia artist/engineer/weirdo practicing in portland, oregon. i seek to capture the feelings of joy, terror, and absurdity that comes with moving through our current tumultuous world.

My photography and sculptural work has been featured in gallery shows across Oregon and New York, and my painting and miniature work is highly acclaimed worldwide. My industry work is featured in Broadway productions, theme parks, and stage shows across the world.

My proclivities for maximalism and color, along with my trans and queer identities, inform my work in painting, sculpture, and photography. I’ve been a professional, full time artist for 7 years now, having spent most of that time in the entertainment industry.

Large scale puppets and animatronics for theater, tabletop accessories, miniatures and dioramas are just some of the things I’ve spent my time mastering, both in my professional career and personal life. In my free time, I do photography, fashion design, cosplay, and woodworking, among many other creative hobbies and activities.
